Truck Paintings

Beauty can be found in rusty old things long forgotten that capture a moment in time. Alexandra Orton has loved old trucks since she was a child playing in the abandoned cars in her grandparents yard. These trips in her youth, plus frequent car shows only increased her love for the rounded curves of older vehicles. Since moving to New Mexico it seems she has found like-minded people offering a multitude of painting subjects. So much so that she has many references and not enough time to get them all on canvas.
