Surreal Paintings

In Alexandra Orton’s childhood her mother’s fascination with Salvador Dali sparked a love for surrealism. She was a very shy child who turned her thoughts inward. She was able to not only appreciate everything around her, but she also enjoyed thinking on what could be. Stories that could be told visually. It was a natural transition onto canvas. You will not always find obvious stories but instead look for the subtle nods that can be found within her artwork.
